Man using PS5 DualSense controller.

PlayStation will host a new edition of its regular State of Play video presentation today, Thursday 30 May 2024.

It will give us a great look at upcoming PS5 and PSVR2 releases planned for release this year and even beyond. You can watch it below.

There's no word yet on what titles might feature, although Sony has confirmed that there will be 14 in total – for either PlayStation 5 and PSVR2.

It's almost certain that the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion for Elden Ring will be part of the presentation, considering that releases in June. The rest will come as a nice surprise.

Here's everything you need to know about the new PlayStation State of Play.

How to watch the PlayStation State of Play presentation

You can watch the PlayStation State of Play for May 2024 via the video at the top of this page.

Alternatively, you will be able to watch it on PlayStation's own YouTube channel, Twitch or TikTok.

What to expect

According to the official Sony PlayStation Blog, the new State of Play will be a 30-minute show and "feature 14 titles".

There is no further indication on the exact games, although it will include some for the PlayStation VR2 headset.

Some claim that we might hear more about Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, the remake of Metal Gear Solid 3 that was first revealed last year.

We could even see more on Death Stranding 2: On The Beach, which was also an integral part of the State of Play presentation in January.

Basically, this all means that the show could throw in a few surprises – so it's well worth a watch.
