PlayStation Plus May games include EA Sports FC 26, Wuchang: Fallen Feathers, and Nine Sols

Sony has revealed the PlayStation Plus monthly games for May 2026, and all three titles will be available to Essential, Extra, and Premium subscribers from May 5.

The May lineup includes EA Sports FC 26, Wuchang: Fallen Feathers, and Nine Sols. Subscribers can add the games to their libraries until June 1, and they will remain playable for as long as the account has an active PlayStation Plus subscription.

EA Sports FC 26 is the headline game for the month, which will probably disappoint those subscribers who aren’t that into sports games, and football in particular. The football sim is available on PS5 and PS4, bringing the usual mix of Career, Clubs, Kick-Off, and Football Ultimate Team modes. EA Sports changed some of the core gameplay elements this year, which made the 26 entry quite contentious among the hardcore fans: some claim it’s the best in years, while others are calling for boycotting the “ruined game.”

PS Plus members can also claim a PlayStation Plus Icons Pack during the game’s monthly games window.

Wuchang: Fallen Feathers is the PS5-only entry in the lineup. The action Souls-like RPG sends players through a dark fantasy version of late Ming Dynasty China, with plague, monsters, and aggressive melee combat. The game was receiving some praise up until the point when the developers implemented a patch that rendered some of the enemies unkillable, messing up the story in the process. Still, it’s a very competent Souls-like.

The third game is Nine Sols, available on PS5 and PS4. It is a 2D action-platformer with heavy parry-based combat, hand-drawn art, and a setting that blends mythology with science fiction. It’s a hardcore Metroidvania that’s just approachable enough that even genre newcomers will be able to pick it up and beat it.

The May lineup replaces April’s monthly games, which included Lords of the Fallen, Tomb Raider I-III Remastered, and Sword Art Online Fractured Daydream. PlayStation Plus members have until May 4 to add those games to their libraries before the new selection goes live. The May PlayStation Plus games will be available from May 5 to June 1. The lineup may vary slightly by region, so subscribers should check the PlayStation Store when the games go live.
