PlayStation 6 Update: Everything To Know About the Digital-Only Consoles and Discs Ending

Sony will stop producing physical discs for newly released PlayStation games from January 2028, raising questions about the PlayStation 6 disc drive.

The company announced the worldwide change on 1 July but has not confirmed whether its next console will support physical media.
