'Playing the series or not is a matter of...': Jay Shah on Mohammed Shami's participation in Border-Gavaskar Trophy

NEW DELHI: India's ace pacer Mohammed Shami's participation in the upcoming Border-Gavaskar Trophy later this year is contingent on a final fitness assessment from the National Cricket Academy (NCA), according to BCCI secretary Jay Shah.

Shami, recovering from an ankle injury sustained in the ODI World Cup last November, is currently in rehabilitation at the NCA in Bengaluru.
