Players trust Suryakumar Yadav more than Hardik Pandya: Report

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has appointed Suryakumar Yadav as India's T20I captain, succeeding Rohit Sharma, based on reports that the players trust him more than allrounder Hardik Pandya, who led the team in T20Is before getting injured last year.

The decision was announced late on Thursday when the selectors revealed the squads for India's upcoming white-ball tour of Sri Lanka, which commences on July 27.
