Arsenal fans have had their say on whether they think Joao Cancelo should make the switch from Manchester City to the Gunners this summer. Mikel Arteta has been linked with making a move for the full-back in a repeat of a swoop for Oleksandr Zinchenko and Gabriel Jesus last year.
The Portuguese international has fallen out of favour with Pep Guardiola at the Etihad Stadium, leading to a loan move in January, joining Bayern Munich. With the defender's spell set to come to an end soon, his future remains uncertain, which could lead to Arsenal swooping for a move.
His technical quality and ability would allow for him to slot into Arteta's system comfortably from the moment he joins the side. However, Arsenal fans were torn over whether a deal should go ahead, taking to social media to have their say over whether a deal should happen or not.

@Kingkarayu: "Arteta buying the whole Man City squad thinking its the those players who can wn him PL trophy is so laughable. It needs more than that."
@Football_Speak: "Cancelo would be a perfect upgrade for Arsenal, adding the much needed depth in squad & tactical options. However, my only doubts are about the players recent attitude & seemingly lack of hunger. But Arteta knows Cancelo well, so I guess he will be a better judge of that."
@itsbithorse: "Nope, there's got to be a reason he was unhappy at both city and Bayern. He wants playing time and would we seriously play him over White?"
@Trafatoni: "Way too expensive for us. We have far more important areas to spend £50-£70m on than a squad rotation full back…"
@KhotsoNkhathoj1: "Man with him & Zinchenko as fullbacks we're conceding every game."
@mosesfemi934: "Sign him up, he has CL experience, we need that Cancelo, he can play both wing back."
