A planned new train station for Parkhead could help thousands of Celtic supporters on match days.
One Glasgow City Council officer put forward the idea of a railway station at Parkhead that could revolutionise travel in and out of Celtic Park for supporters. Currently the nearest rail links are in Bridgeton, Dalmarnock and Carntyne.
An old railway line nearby could also be transformed into a cycle path as part of new plans emerging to improve East End areas, reports Glasgow Live.
