A plane brandishing a banner criticising the Everton board was flown over Goodison Park during their clash with Arsenal.
It read: 'Leagues worst run club fans @#Time2GoBill', making reference to the club's long-standing chairman Bill Kenwright. The airborne protest follows a string of campaigns led by Evertonians and there was a demonstration march to stadium prior to their clash with the Gunners.
A 'sit-in' protest is scheduled to follow the conclusion of the early kick-off against Mikel Arteta's side. Going into the encounter with the Premier League leaders, Everton sat 19th.

Their precarious position of 15 points from 20 games is their lowest tally at this stage of a Premier League season. Sean Dyche took over from Frank Lampard on the eve of the January transfer window following the former Chelsea manager's sacking.
It isn't the first time that a plane has flown over Goodison Park in recent seasons after a banner was seen above the stadium last season before the clash with Aston Villa.
'22 YEARS OF FAILURE BILL @ TIME2GOBILL' was spotted flying over L4 just before kick off on that occasion. The campaign comes as frustration builds from Evertonians over how their club is being run.
