Plane crash in remote NT, one dead

Rescue crews were sent by boat and helicopter to a remote NT area after a fatal plane crash. (AAP)

A plane crash in a remote part of West Arnhem Land has left one person dead and another seriously injured.

Northern Territory police were advised of the crash shortly before 11am and dispatched the nearest officers at Goulburn Island to attend the location on King River, several hours away by boat.
