Plan to turn Mossmorran plant into weapons factory storing explosives

A defence contractor plans to turn the site of Fife Ethylene Plant at Mossmorran into a weapons components factory which could handle explosives and munitions.

ExxonMobil’s facility permanently ceased production after 40 years back in February, and the decommissioning process is expected to last until early 2028.
