Piyush Goyal steps up US outreach, pitches India to global investors for deeper investment ties

New York: Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal has stepped up his engagement with global business leaders during his visit to the United States, holding a series of meetings with senior executives from leading investment, financial services and consumer companies to explore opportunities for deeper investment and partnerships with India.

Goyal held meetings with senior representatives of Blackstone, Neuberger Berman and The Estee Lauder Companies, with discussions spanning investment opportunities, financial and wealth management, manufacturing, sourcing and India's growing beauty and personal care market.
