Pit bulls that savaged baby and toddler to death and mauled their mum are put down

Two pit bulls which killed two children and mauled their mother have been euthanised.

Kirstie Jane Bennard, 30, reportedly fought the dogs, Mia and Cheech, for 10 minutes as they attacked her children five-month-old Hollace Dean Bennard and Lilly Jane Bennard, two, in the family home.

The pit bulls were a part of the family for eight years without any violent incidents but the mauling on Wednesday killed the baby and toddler.
