Flights across the UK are being cancelled from a number of airports such as Glasgow, Edinburgh and Manchester.
And while the reason for this varies, it still causes a lot of issues for holidaymakers trying to jet off to a sunny destination.
People have taken to social media in their thousands criticising airports and airlines for the way they handle the situation, with some travellers being left stranded abroad trying to scramble to find last minute flights.

But while this is happening, one pilot has taken to TikTok to give some advice to people about what they should do if they are worried that their flight may be cancelled.
In addition, he has also said that while this time may be stressful for passengers, it's also stressful for the staff as he issued a reminder for those walking through airport doors.
Taking to TikTok to discuss the situation to his near half a million followers, Harrison Murray - also known as @pilot_geeza on the social media app - has said there are certain things you can do when you're stressed or worried.
He explained: "It's been reported this morning that airlines are to announce a new wave of cancellations next week due to staff shortages.
"If you're travelling this week keep an eye on the airline's website or the flight status. There's no point heading to the airport if your flight's been cancelled.
"Plan for the worst and hope for the best. Pack plenty of snacks and something to keep yourself and your kids entertained if you do happen to get caught up in any delays.
"Remember the airline and airport stuff are grafting. They're working in a high stress environment. No doubt you're going to be upset, angry or frustrated but taking it out on the airline or airport staff isn't going to get that flight off the ground any quicker.
"Try to remain calm, patient and be nice. Simply lovely."
The video has received almost half a million views, 30,000 likes as well as many comments in support of those who work in the industry.
In response to the video, one took to the comments and said: "I work at Heathrow for an airline, we get the most vile people sometimes. Yes it’s not nice and I’d be angry but don’t take it out on us."
Another added: "Top words, top Geeza."
"Be nice - most people forget this sadly" wrote a third.
