A pilot was forced to ask 19 people to get off an easyJet flight after the airplane was 'too heavy to take off'.

The flight from Lanzarote's Arrecife Airport was delayed on Wednesday, July 5, because of the plane's weight and adverse weather conditions.

The flight, heading for Liverpool, was due to take off at 9.45pm but did not leave the Spanish airport until nearly 11.30pm.
