A pill which experts say stops you from getting a hangover has gone on sale in the UK today. The supplement is taken before you drink and is said to stop the body absorbing alcohol - protecting you from a hangover for 12 hours.
Scientists say taking two of the pills has been shown in trials to break down alcohol in the digestive system before it gets to the rest of the body, meaning it could also help protect your liver.
Myrkl is made of probiotics, derived from the body’s natural bacteria, with amino acid L-Cysteine and Vitamin B12. The trio helps breakdown alcohol’s toxic by-products into carbon dioxide and water.
