PIL on solar panel sale: High court sends notice to state government, seeks reply

BHOPAL: A division bench of MP high court issued notices to the state government and other respondents in response to a petition seeking court's intervention in ordering a probe into sale of solar panels allegedly at double the actual rate by Vindhya Development Authority.

The petitioner Virendra Kumjar Parihar in his PIL said that Vindhya Development Authority had floated tender for purchase of solar panels for villages in the region which are without electricity.
