On Friday evening, pigeons were spotted flying around the Tesco store on Park Road as customers tried to do their shopping, . However, volunteers say when they tried to help, they were "shunned" away by staff.
Bailey Higham, who is an admin of the Liverpool, Merseyside Bird Rescue and Advice Facebook Page now fears they will be "killed" by a pest control company. She told the ECHO that she "begged" staff to allow volunteers to free the birds, but was not allowed.
