Piers Morgan 'traumatised' after being 'exploited' in Harry and Meghan's Netflix doc

Piers Morgan has said that he is 'traumatised' after being 'exploited' in Harry and Meghan's Netflix documentary. The TV presenter has blasted the couple on Twitter tonight, saying that they use his voice to "flog their ghastly new series".

'Harry & Meghan' drops on the streaming site on Thursday December 8, and has already sent fans into a frenzy. In a new trailer for the film, released today, former Good Morning Britain host Piers is heard gushing: "She's [Meghan's] becoming a royal rock star."

But Morgan tweeted tonight saying: "BREAKING: Princess Pinocchio & Prince Hypocrite use my voice to flog their ghastly new series. I’m traumatised by this exploitation," reports The Mirror.

He was famously a supporter and 'friend' of Meghan before her marriage to Harry, but has since accused her of 'ditching' him and has been very vocal in criticising the couple's decision to step back from royal duties.

Piers was particularly savage in his response to Meghan's now infamous interview with Oprah Winfrey and CBS - which led to his departure from ITV.

Many fans accused the host of being "obsessed" with the former Suits actress before he quit GMB after refusing to apologise for calling Meghan a liar.

The father-of-four refuted claims the mum-of-two faced mental health struggles as a senior royal, as a result of her treatment by Harry's family.

Trailers for the new series have been airing in recent days, with the second of two featuring the duchess crying as Prince Harry claims he was terrified his wife would meet the same fate at his late mother, Princess Diana.

The brand new promo clip, which aired today, features the pair talking about their lives in the Royal Family and the hierarchy within it - as well as claiming stories about them have been planted and leaked.

Harry says in the new teaser: "There's a hierarchy of the family. You know, there's leaking but there's also planting of stories.

He later adds: "It's a dirty game."

It's been confirmed the first episodes will drop this Thursday (December 8) before the remaining episodes can be streamed on December 15.
