Piers Morgan landed in Kyiv today to join the First Lady of Ukraine for a summit meeting to help highlight the effects of the Russian invasion.
The Talk TV host, 57, was invited to co-host the summit and said he was "honoured" to be involved in the conference with Olena Zelenska, the wife of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
Writing on Twitter, Piers said: "I was honoured to be invited by First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska to co-host her second Summit of First Ladies & Gentlemen, in Kyiv.
"Join us online from around the world later today as we shine a light on Ukraine and its war-torn people."
Piers also shared a picture of his morning in Kyiv.
The broadcaster was one of the moderators of the summit alongside Anna Homonai, a Ukrainian TV presenter.
President Volodymyr Zelensky's wife chaired the international event which marks the 150th day of Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
Celebrities and leading world-experts were invited to participate in the conference.
The First Lady said in a statement that she was inviting people to "join forces" to "win the battle for a decent life for Ukrainian people and learn lessons to overcome possible future world crises".
The summit is being broadcast to more than 20 countries and covers various issues caused by the war, including forced migration and the suffering of women and children.
The Kyiv summit official page states The Second Summit of First Ladies and Gentlemen is designed to draw the world's attention to the war.
It said: "The main theme of this year's event will be man.
"After all, it is the preservation and restoration of human capital that is the key to the successful reconstruction of the country.
"At the same time, the Summit is not only about Ukraine.
"It is about every country in the world that has already felt or may feel the impact of war and other global crises."
Russia's invasion of Ukraine began back in February and has seen civilians attacked.
Ukraine has recently condemned Russia's latest attack on Odesa, saying Vladimir Putin has spat in the face of United Nations (UN) Secretary-General Antonio Guterres and Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan.
