Piers Morgan has slammed 'talentless' Kim Kardashian over her Met Gala 2022 look - saying Marilyn Monroe would be 'turning in her grave'.
Controversial Piers, 57, was clearly not a fan of the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star's look for the annual event - which took place on Monday.
Kim, 41, looked outstanding in the embellished gown - previously worn by Marilyn as she sang happy birthday to President John F Kennedy in 1962 - which clung to her famous curves and showed off her gym-honed physique.
She reportedly struggled to "do-up" the dress due to her famous bum.
Kim was also given a lock of Marilyn's hair ahead of her appearance at the Met Gala.
Now, Piers has branded Kim 'creepy' as she recreated the actress' look - years after the actress died in an apparent suicide from a barbiturates overdose following a string of failed marriages and broken relationships.
Over on Twitter, Piers went in on the reality star.
He wrote: "So creepy and wrong. Marilyn will be turning in her grave at this talentless wastrel hijacking & tarnishing her brand."
Elsewhere, Kim has been slammed on the internet after she revealed she followed an extreme diet in order to be able to fit into the dress.
The reality star said she cried when she couldn't fit into the iconic 'naked' gown during a first try on.
Instead of choosing another outfit, she admitted she lost weight so she could wear the £4million dress for just a few minutes on the red carpet.
“I always thought she [Marilyn] was extremely curvy,” she told Vogue.
“I imagined I might be smaller in some places where she was bigger and bigger in places where she was smaller. So when it didn’t fit me I wanted to cry because it [the dress] can’t be altered at all.”
After realising the dress didn’t fit, Kim was “determined” to lose 16lbs – something she approached like a film role.
Revealing how she did it, the Kim said she hadn't eaten carbs or sugar in three weeks.
She also admitted wearing a sauna suit twice a day, running on a treadmill and eating the “cleanest veggies and protein”.
Kim said while she didn’t starve herself, she was “so strict” with her diet in the days before the Met Gala - fashion’s biggest night of the year.
