Piers Morgan was quickly flooded with comments as he reunited with Susanna Reid, two years after they were suddenly forced to stop hosting Good Morning Britain together. As many will already know, Piers quit the ITV news programme in 2021, storming off set after a clash with weatherman Alex Beresford about comments he made concerning Meghan Markle.
Back in January, the controversial journalist and TV star asked about being reinstated by GMB after Prince Harry suggested comments made about his son before he was born were 'not racist'.

He has since been replaced on GMB by a whole host of familiar faces with the likes of Richard Madeley, Ed Balls and Adil Ray all sitting in his former seat alongside Susanna. But despite no longer working together, Piers shared a picture on Wednesday (March 30) to Instagram as he reunited with former co-host and 'work wife'.
The pair were seen smiling for the snap as they enjoyed breakfast at Cafe Phillies in London after Susanna finished up on the programme at the ITV studios. "Good morning (again) Britain! Been a while since we last had breakfast together," TalkTV star Piers typed in the caption before adding: "Lovely to see you @susannareid100."
And fans were quick to respond. @bevivins_ said: "This is how it should be!!!" @forwardsue wrote: "What a great duo you were, get piers back beside you." @kittlroberta commented: "Please go back to the morning tv, I will not watch it since you left, but I always watch you at 8pm ....love your honesty."
@oweilda posted: "Wish you two were back together in TV." @rachael_wickes replied: "Please re-unite!!! Love this photo of you both!! #dreamteam." @angelina.chalmers added: "Miss you both on GMB, lovely to see you both together."
Susanna also shared the snap to her Instagram Story and simply said: "Long time no see..." She then shared a follow-up photo of Piers smiling alongside his breakfast as she teased him for his choice. "Sorry, did you say Vegan yoghurt??" referring to the fact that Piers was famously against Vegan products during his time on GMB.
Their reunion comes after Susanna gave a special mention to Piers after marking 20 years on breakfast TV. As she was celebrated on GMB, the 52-year-old presenter thanked Piers for making her 'more argumentative and more difficult' as well as giving a nod to her former BBC Breakfast colleague Bill Turnbull, who died last year.
