Former Good Morning Britain presenter Piers Morgan has called for Premier League football to continue this weekend after fixtures were postponed.
The Premier League and EFL confirmed the postponement of games shortly after 11:30am on Friday after the Queen's death on Thursday. Nottingham Forest were due to travel to Leeds United on Monday evening, but the fixture will now be rescheduled.
The death of The Queen has sent the nation into a period of national mourning, meaning the football calendar has been altered for the upcoming weekend - despite a Government go-ahead for games to go ahead under certain conditions if national bodies agreed.

Arsenal supporter Morgan took to social media to urge the league to allow the weekends sporting events to continue as planned. He tweeted: "Sporting events should go ahead. a) The Queen loved sport, and b) It would be great to see/hear huge crowds singing the National Anthem to Her Majesty, as West Ham fans did so magnificently last night."
The Reds could now be forced to wait further weeks until they resume action. While there has been no clarification of whether next week's fixtures will follow suit, there have been suggestions that they are in jeopardy due to the Queen's state funeral.
Should Forest have their game against Fulham on Friday, September 16 postponed, Steve Cooper's side will not be in action until they make the short trip down the A46 on Monday, October 3 to face Leicester City - a whole month since the defeat to AFC Bournemouth last weekend.
