Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang Arsenal Gabon Africa Cup of Nations

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is returning to Arsenal early from the Africa Cup of Nations due to ongoing health issues.

Aubameyang was left out of the Gabon squad to face Ghana on Friday after scan results showed a suspected heart problem.

The extensive examinations were carried out by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) and Aubameyang's teammates Axel Meyé and Mario Lemina was also removed from the group for the same reason.
