Pictures have emerged showing the moment a car crashed into a Nottingham newsagents. Two people were taken to hospital after the incident just before 6pm on Wednesday (March 8).
A Fiat Panda and an Audi S6 were involved in a collision, with the latter vehicle then crashing into the Jaspal Newsagent on the corner of Nottingham Road and Chelmsford Road. Nobody inside the building was hurt, but Nottinghamshire Police said the two occupants of the Fiat were taken to hospital to be treated for injuries not believed to be life-threatening or life-altering.

Officials from the local council attended the scene and a structural engineer was also called to assess the damage. A police cordon and lane closures were still in place around the newsagent for most of Thursday (March 9) whilst the building was made safe.
Nottinghamshire Live pictures previously showed the extent of the damage to the newsagents, but new pictures show the moment the car crashed into it. There were also some traffic delays in the area due to the lane closures and cordon.
