An Audi ended up in a ditch following a two-car crash in Bolton in the early hours of this morning.
The smash happened on Market Street, where the road meets Stoneclough Road, in the Stoneclough area of Kearsley at around 3am. A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police confirmed officers were called to the scene after a two car crash.
Pictures showed a damaged Audi S8 in a ditch off the side of the road. A red Citreon also appeared to have been left damaged, with a smashed windscreen and badly damaged bonnet.

It has not yet been confirmed whether anyone was injured in the crash. Police have not revealed whether any arrests were made.
Market Street was shut off both ways after the crash. It was closed between Bolton Road and Bridge Street.
Eyewitnesses reported seeing the police helicopter overhead. The road was reopened by around 6.30am.
