Images of the bruises Angelina Jolie claims she sustained during an alleged physical altercation with her then-husband Brad Pitt in 2016 have been released.
The mum-of-six, 47, filed pictures showing bruising to her hand and elbow to the FBI as part of an investigation into the former couple's 'verbal and physical fight' while onboard a private jet from France to LAX on September 14, 2016.
According to the documents, seen by several news outlets, Angelina, 47, claimed Brad, 58, 'grabbed her by her head' and shook her before allegedly punching the ceiling of the plane four times on the flight with their children – something Brad strongly denies. No charges were made against the actor after an investigation.
Oscar winner Angelina alleged Brad drank multiple alcoholic drinks on the flight and 90 minutes in, took issue with her parenting.
When she asked what was wrong, the actor is said to have replied: "That kid looks like a f*****g Columbine kid", seemingly in reference to the Columbine High School massacre in 1999 which saw 12th grade students Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold murder 12 children and a teacher.
"She recalled that (redacted) went on and said things like, 'You don’t know what you’re doing'," the report continued, according to NBC.
Brad denies all of his ex-wife's claims and no charges were made following an investigation.
In its final report on the investigation, the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services concluded that the Bullet Train actor, did not physically abuse any of his children. The dad-of-six was also cleared by the FBI of any wrongdoing.
According to FBI documents, which have yet to be publicly released but have been seen by many outlets, Angelina alleges she attempted to choke her former husband from behind as a reaction to her belief he was "going to attack" one of their young children, according to PageSix.
She goes on to allege that while Brad was in a chokehold, the Once Upon a Time In Hollywood actor threw his body back which caused the mum-of-six to slam into chairs behind them on the plane.
In the FBI report from 2016, Angelina claims she sustained injuries to her neck elbow and she also suffered a "rug-burn type wound" on one of her hands following the alleged altercation, according to PageSix.
Angelina – who has been named as the anonymous 'Jane Doe' who filed the FBI report – reportedly submitted images in addition to her claims which show bruising on her hand and elbow.
The actress said she was hurt in the struggle on board the private jet in 2016 according to the report, which included pictures of her reported injuries to the hand and elbow.
She claimed Brad behaved like a 'monster' on the flight, pouring beer on her and causing $25,000 of damage to the plane, mostly caused by red wine stains.
Angelina alleges when the plane landed, Brad told her: "You’re not f**king going anywhere. You’re not getting off this f**k plane. F**k you all. I’m f*****g leaving you."
In the final report after its investigations, the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services concluded Brad did not physically abuse any of his children.
Four days on from the flight in 2016, Angelina filed for divorce from the actor after almost five years of marriage and first beginning their romance in 2005.
Up until May 2021, Angelina has sole custody of their six children; Maddox, 21, twins Knox and Vivienne, 14, as well as daughters Shiloh, 16, Zahara, 17, and son Pax, 18.
A California judge awarded Brad joint custody last year, over four and a half years after proceedings first started.
