Eddie Howe has revealed he'll be without Allan Saint-Maximin for Newcastle United's important game against their top-four rivals Tottenham Hotspur this weekend. The French winger not featured since the win at West Ham when he suffered a hamstring injury.
There's been no setback in Saint-Maximin's recovery, but the injury is taking time to heal. The 26-year-old is still in France, where he's been undergoing his rehabilitation, but will return to Tyneside this coming Monday.
Miggy Almiron could come into the fold for the Magpies, with Anthony Gordon failing to make the most of his opportunity at Villa Park, while Jacob Murphy also struggled to make an impact. The Paraguayan is the Toon's top scorer and has impressed in the black and white stripes this season.

Sean Longstaff has recovered from an illness and he could come back into the starting XI to face Tottenham. The Magpies academy graduate was a second-half substitute in the disappointing defeat to Aston Villa.
His absence was hard felt in the middle of the pitch with Newcastle struggling to get to grips with the Villains' midfield runners. Howe expects to have a similar squad available to him on Sunday.
