Newcastle United could take a huge stride towards sealing a Champions League spot when they host Brighton on Thursday night. Liverpool's relentless run of seven straight wins has shifted pressure on to the Magpies and Manchester United in the race for the top four.
Eddie Howe's side know that two victories from their final three fixtures will guarantee a place among Europe's elite next term. Brighton is followed by another home clash against relegation battlers Leicester City, while Newcastle finish the season with a visit to struggling Chelsea.
Sean Longstaff has again been ruled out of action following a foot injury sustained in the victory at Everton last month, while Jacob Murphy is a doubt with a groin issue. Jamaal Lascelles and Matt Ritchie have already been ruled out for the remainder of the campaign, while Emil Krafth is also not expected to feature again this term.
