Newcastle United will face a stern test of their current top-six credentials when they travel to Tottenham on Sunday. The Magpies followed up a hard-earned point at Manchester United with a narrow home victory over Everton.
Eddie Howe's side have still lost just once all season, but will be considered the underdogs in the capital for the televised clash. Tottenham were beaten at Old Trafford on Wednesday night, but have otherwise made a strong start to the season.
The Magpies were thrashed on their last visit to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, despite Fabian Schar's free-kick giving the visitors a first-half lead. Howe's side crumbled after the break, and were eventually beaten 5-1 in April.

Alexander Isak remains sidelined along with Sweden team-mate Emil Krafth, while Allan Saint-Maximin is continuing his recovery from his latest hamstring complaint. Jonjo Shelvey has taken a spot on the bench for the last two fixtures, but is likely still not ready to make a start.
