The Baltimore Ravens have been one of the most run-heavy teams in the NFL ever since quarterback Lamar Jackson took over starter duties in 2018. Jackson has extreme talent with both his arm and his legs, and Baltimore has taken advantage by building one of the best offenses in the league.
The Ravens’ running back room was hit hard by injuries in 2021, and with players such as J.K. Dobbins and Gus Edwards still working their way back from serious ailments, the team is reportedly expected to sign free agent running back Kenyan Drake. After the news broke, Josina Anderson of CBS Sports reported that the running back’s physical with Baltimore went “seamless”, and is expected to put pen to paper on Wednesday.
Update: Free agent RB Kenyan Drake's physical with Baltimore today went 'seamless,' per league source. Plan is to now put pen to paper tomorrow, I'm told.

Drake is expected to slot in with other running backs such as Dobbins, Mike Davis and Justice Hill. The veteran has has success over the course of his NFL career, and could provide plenty as both a runner and a pass catcher to an offense that is looking to get back on track.
