Photos have shown the aftermath of a horror crash on a Scots road that left one car on its roof.
Police Scotland's road policing officers raced to the smash on the A92 at Crossgates in Fife.
The driver had a lucky escape after walking away from the wreckage with just minor injuries.
Cops revealed the car was brand new but the driver had failed to get it insured before hitting the roads.
Police say he faces a Traffic Offence Report.
In a statement, Fife Police Division wrote on social media: "Fife road police went to this crash on the A92.
"Thankfully only minor injuries. The driver just bought the car. Pity he didn’t think to insure it till after the crash. Then this VW was stopped speeding at 108mph also on the A92. Both reported."
The patrol had a busy night and also clocked a driver racing down the same road at 108mph.
The driver could face prosecution, which would entail costs and a possible ban.
The division added: "Then this VW was stopped speeding at 108mph also on the A92. Both reported. #HardToDecideWhatsWorse #SlowDownSaveLives."
