New family festival Far Away Land got underway in Southport today.
Many families descended on Victoria Park on Saturday, July 2, to enjoy a fun day out with some CBBC stars. The two-day festival features a line up of live music from Andy and the Oddsocks (fronted by CBBC star Andy Day), Horrible Histories 'Barmy Britain' live on stage, Jurassic Live Dinosaur show and Yolanda’s Band Jam.
At Far Away Land there's also a circus show, Roald Dahl's 'Imagination Seekers', science demonstrations, live wrestling, a huge graffiti wall, a teddy bears’ picnic, Mad Hatter’s Tea Party and immersive LEGO City.
