Fans of Tim Burton’s classic the Nightmare Before Christmas will be elated to hear that some of the famous names from the film will be reuniting on stage just in time for the holiday season.

Danny Elfman, who composed the music, the lyrics, and the score for the 1993 fan-favourite, will be reprising his role as the voice of the Pumpkin King of Halloween Town, Jack Skellington.

And Phoebe Bridgers will take on the part of the humanoid ragdoll, Sally.

As if all of that wasn’t exciting enough, Ken Page, who was the original voice of Oogie Boogie, will be reprising his role.

The BBC Concert Orchestra will join the stars to create a live musical version of the holiday movie, also known as a “cine-concert”.

The audience will be able to watch the whole movie as the music is played and sung live.

T he Nightmare Before Christmas concert dates and venue

Fans of the show can catch the Nightmare Before Christmas live show at Wembley’s OVO Arena this winter.

The special cast will be featured for two nights only, at 6 pm on Friday, December 9, and Saturday, December 10.

How to get tickets for the Nightmare Before Christmas

Tickets for the special event are currently on sale.

You can head over to the Ticketmaster website to get your hands on some tickets before they sell out, as there is low availability.

The screenings are the latest in a host of celebrations of the cult film.

Last year, Billie Eilish voiced Sally for a similar event, performing Sally’s Song, and duetting with Elfman in California.

Page reprised his role as Oogie Boogie for that event as well, while “Weird Al” Yankovic voiced the character of Lock.

Elfman also performed a handful of Nightmare Before Christmas favourites at the Coachella Festival in April.

So, if you can’t get your hands on tickets, there will probably be other opportunities for fans in the run-up to Halloween.
