Phillip Schofield appears to have made a good start to his time off from This Morning. The presenter appeared for the last time on the ITV daytime programme last Friday (July 8) alongside Holly Willoughby for several weeks.
The hosting duo have left the popular show in the hands of Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary for the next two weeks before several other familiar faces take the reins before Holly and Phillip return in September.
And on Tuesday (July 12) a smiling Phillip, 60, took to Instagram to share how he was spending some time in the salon before showing off the results of his fresh haircut at his favourite hairdressers.

In an sun-soaked snap posted on his Instagram Stories, Phil smiled at the camera as he debuted his new look. He captioned the smiley picture: "Summer ur cut”" and added a happy face emoji. And the TV star also had a bit of laugh while Lino Carbosiero worked his magic on him at the Daniel Galvin salon in London.
The video saw Phillip unable to stop giggling at an optical illusion while sat in the hairdressing chair which makes it look like Lino has half of his body missing, with Phil's legs poking out to make him look shorter than he is in real life. "Never fails to crack me up @linocarbosiero," he wrote alongside the post.
And it appears Phillip was getting ready for a special occasion. He later returned to Instagram to share a snap of himself in the back of a car in the 29 degree heat with his wife and their children. Phillip, Steph, Molly and Ruby were joined by the girls' other halves as they celebrated Molly's birthday.
The group smiled for a dinner selfie in a plush-looking restaurant with Phillip writing: "Happy birthday gorgeous @mollyschofe," before tagging the location as Mayfair establishment The Wolseley.
Just a few weeks ago Phillip shared a beaming selfie with his stunning daughters, revealing that his girls “treated him to lunch” as he shared a rare insight into his home life on Instagram. The presenter took to the photo-sharing platform to share the sweet family snap with his three million followers.
"My girls are treating me to lunch," Phillip wrote with the hashtag #fathersday. It showed the TV star planted between his two girls, Molly, 29 and Ruby, 26 whom he shares with wife Stephanie Lowe, who he married in 1993. While Phillip keeps his social media page very private with fans unable to comment, his This Morning co-host and best pal Holly was able to respond, simply writing: "Awww," with a red heart emoji. Her sister Kelly echoed Holly by commenting: "Ahhhhhhh gorgeous photo!"
Meanwhile Ruby continued to shout about the love she has for her dad, writing: " LOVE YOUUU," alongside a string of different emojis. The snap showed Phillip with his arms firmly placed around his daughter's as he smiled for the camera in a powder blue jumper. Molly and Ruby were equally as smiley either side of him, looking almost identical with their blonde locks and bright smiles.
