Phillip Schofield couldn't help but smile as he took to the slopes with some unlikely holiday companions. The This Morning host has been enjoying his break away from the daytime show for the last two weeks.
He and co-host Holly Willoughby headed off on their annual Easter break earlier this month, with Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary stepping in for a week before returning for yesterday's Easter Monday episode. Vernon Kay and Josie Gibson also returned to the helm of the programme last week.
But ahead of his and Holly's return on Tuesday (April 19), Phillip took to Instagram to share a glimpse at his time away with a series of snaps posed to his millions of Instagram followers.
"Ski gang 2022," he shared alongside a snap of himself wearing the iconic It's A Sin-inspired 'La' t-shirt while surrounded by several of his pals who all had headed on a snowy trip to the French Alps. "Apres," the 60-year-old then posted alongside another photo of himself, in black and white, as he kicked back on sun lounger.
But it was the next few pictures that gave us a clearer look at who he was holidaying with and it just so happened to be actor Luke Evans and interior designer Kelly Hoppen.
While Phillip has been public with his friendship with Kelly before, his rubbing of shoulders with Clash of the Titans and Beauty and the Beast actor Luke with his latest Instagram posts racking up thousands of likes each.
"The best host @kellyhoppen," Phillip shared alongside a selfie of himself and Kelly both rocking a pair of sunglasses as the snow-capped mountains could just be seen peeking through in the background.
He was also full of praise for Kelly's other half as they donned ski gear in another snap with Phillip commenting: "@kellyhoppen ‘s hubby John generous host and brilliant ski instructor."
But all good things must come to an end and the TV presenter, who celebrated his 60th birthday on April 1, shared a snap of the group - including Kelly and Luke - sat in a car, saying: "We don’t want to go!!! @kellyhoppen @bendelisi @thereallukeevans."
A few days ago Luke, who hails from Pontypool, South Wales, gave a glimpse into the trip as he celebrated his own birthday. Alongside a clip of him being presented with a delicious-looking chocolate cake, a cosy selfie with Kelly and the group shot Phillip also shared, the actor said: "What a very special few days I’ve had. With some truly brilliant human beings.
"Thank you for making my 43rd birthday go off with a bang! Especially @kellbell_red and Big John for being the most epic of hosts, and for @justinhornechef making me a tasty AF birthday cake! It’s been wonderful. I blew out the candles Delta Force style…apparently!!"
