Phillip Schofield claims he has 'turned down' the chance to go on I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here, saying he's asked 'all the time' if he'd go on.
The return of the ITV show was a big talking point for Phillip and co-host Holly Willoughby once again on Thursday, as they discussed the aftermath of Matt Hancock entering the jungle to the surprise of campmates like Boy George and Charlene White.
Phillip and Holly were discussing I'm A Celebrity with two stars who'd previously appeared on the show, Matthew Wright and Lisa Snowdon and it was, as Matthew complained about Hancock being given the opportunity to be on the show, that Phillip made the revelations about rejecting offers to go on.
Gesturing towards Phillip, Matthew shouted: "What about you? You'd be perfect!" Backing him up, Holly said: "You'd be able to do everything!"
Offering hope to I'm A Celeb bosses that he'd be up for doing the show at some point, Phillip replied: "It's the only one I'd do, it's the only one I'd do. But the answer is currently and I was asked...I'm asked all the time...no, not yet."
Jumping on the last few words of his response, Holly reacted: "Not yet?" as film told her: "Never say never to anything," as she added: "I am never doing it," before Phillip urged her to do Strictly Come Dancing.
Suggesting Phillip and Holly should do I'm A Celebrity together, one fan tweeted hosts Ant and Dec to say: "you need to do an @imacelebrity with iconic duos like Dick and Dom, Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield. Would be the best one yet."
