Phillip Schofield makes 'unprofessional' gaffe as he takes daughter to TV premiere

Phillip Schofield was left red-faced after making a bit of gaffe at a TV premiere last night.

The This Morning host, 60, took his daughter Molly, 29, to the premiere of Game of Thrones prequel, House of the Dragon.

The seasoned star posed perfectly for the paps on the red carpet in London's West End - well almost perfectly.

Unfortunately for Phil, his thumb seemed to be sticking out of his trousers.

Taking to Instagram, sharing the snap, he joked: "Ep 1 of the @houseofdragonhbo is epic!

"BUT... after nearly 200 years in showbiz, you'd think I'd know what to do with my f**king thumb."

Despite the mishap, the father-of-two cut a casual figure wearing a navy blazer, jeans and mauve shirt.

Molly, meanwhile, looked beautiful sporting a pretty purple dress with leopard print detail.

The veteran presenter is making the most of his summer break from This Morning by spending time with his family.

Phil reunited with his estranged wife Stephanie Lowe to celebrate Molly's 29th birthday last month.

The former couple marked the special occasion at The Wolseley in Mayfair alongside the birthday girl and their youngest daughter Ruby, 26.

Taking to Instagram on Tuesday (July 12), Phil shared a snap as he sat with Steph, 57, and their girls in the swanky London eatery.

The group were also joined by Molly and Ruby's boyfriends as they beamed for the shot.

Sporting a crisp white shirt and mahogany tan, Phil looked happy and relaxed while sitting next to mum-of-two Steph.

He posted the pic after the couple attended day one of Wimbledon earlier this summer.

The duo were snapped giggling away as they sat next to each other at the tennis tournament at London's All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club.

The pair had been married for 27 years before Phil came out as gay in February 2020.

However, the two still wear their wedding rings as a symbol of their commitment.

Speaking about his family set-up, the host previously said: "Steph has been incredible – I love her so very much. She is the kindest soul I have ever met.

"My girls have been astonishing in their love, hugs and encouraging words of comfort.

Phil and Holly will be returning to the This Morning sofa on September 5.
