At Bett 2023, Philips showcased its display solutions for education, including the E-line interactive touch screens with built-in features such as an interactive whiteboard, wireless screen sharing, mirroring, casting, display chaining solutions, Android app compatibility and web browser.
Patrick VanTreese, Educational Sales Manager for North America, describes Philips' approach to interactive technology for the classroom. "We really want the teacher or the educator to have the ability to turn it on and immediately start to make an impact," he says. "That's why we made it so it's compatible with many of the other software options and peripherals out there on the market today."
"With distance learning and hybrid learning being a massive focus," VanTreese continues," having a camera and microphone allows kids outside of the classroom to be part of the classroom and that's huge. Our E-line accomplishes all of that."
Philips is a "total solution display house," providing everything from desktop monitors to digital signage, interactive whiteboards and large format video walls. One of its newest products showcased at Bett 2023 is the Tableaux, a digital display board ideal for environments without close access to power. Tableaux can be positioned and repositioned, displaying colorful static content in the same way as paper posters, requiring a power connection only when loading new content. This e-paper 25" tablet features 60,000 colors, 16GB internal memory and connectivity via USB, LAN, WiFi and electric power. Remember, power is only required when loading new content! Use the Tableaux for everything from menu boards to paper-free directional signs and posters.
