Philippe Clement has revealed Rangers goalkeeper Jack Butland missed their Scottish Premiership victory over Dundee because of "personal reasons".
Butland was initially named in the Light Blues' starting XI at 1.45pm before an alteration to the team sheet was confirmed by the club shortly before kick-off, and deputy Liam Kelly took the berth between the posts instead.
"People don't need to worry about Jack," the Rangers manager said after the match. "It was for personal reasons and really short term. Jack will be back next game. He probably doesn't want me to tell people [why he was absent]."
It has later emerged that Butland’s wife went into labour on Saturday afternoon and the one-time Manchester United ‘keeper rushed away to welcome a new addition to the family.

Reflecting on the narrow 1-0 win at Ibrox, Clement told BBC Scotland: "It was well-deserved. We had the ball all the game and we had chances also. We hit the crossbar four times, that's quite particular and doesn't happen too much.
"We had good chances but you need to score the second goal to kill the belief of the opponent. They stayed hoping for something until the last second of the game. So, that's what we missed today, scoring the second or third goal because we had enough opportunities for that."
