Phil Foden praises three Man City youngsters and makes encouraging academy prediction

Phil Foden is confident that more academy players will follow him to becoming regulars in the Manchester City first team.

Foden is City's highest-profile academy graduate, having won nine major trophies, two PFA Young Player of the Year awards and two Premier League Young Player of the Season awards. Having just turned 22, Foden has 169 appearances and is set to play a key role for City and England in 2022/23.

Now, as City look to build on their recent increase in bringing more academy talents through to the senior setup, Foden is in no doubt that he won't be the last success story from the youth teams.
