Phil Collins’ swipe at Oasis after Noel Gallagher calls him music’s ‘antichrist’

Phil Collins has hit out at Noel Gallagher's description of him as the "antichrist of music."

The Genesis musician, 75, appeared on an episode of Piers Morgan Uncensored released on Friday (2 October), discussing remarks the Oasis frontman made about him, which included comments that he wanted "the severed head of Phil Collins in [his] fridge."

Speaking to the broadcaster, Collins said: "I prefer to listen to the Beatles."

His comments came as both he and Gallagher are due to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
