The producer of Netflix 's PGA Tour series has hinted that the production is set to involve plenty of drama. The PGA Tour confirmed at the beginning of 2022 that Netflix was to cover the American-based circuit's most recent campaign.
At the beginning of filming though, what was not expected was the saga the Tour found themselves in with new-found rivals the LIV Golf Series. In a year like no other, a number of the PGA Tour's biggest names including Phil Mickelson and Dustin Johnson dramatically ended their relationship with the circuit in order to join LIV.
The Tour's commissioner Jay Monahan has also found himself in a constant verbal battle with LIV boss Greg Norman, with both sides seemingly unwilling to work alongside each other.
