PFF: Patrick Mahomes was Chiefs’ highest-graded player vs. Ravens

The Kansas City Chiefs are in the win column after the first game of their 2024 season where they beat the Baltimore Ravens 27-20 in a thrilling matchup.

The Chiefs’ offense was in mid-season form, totaling over 350 yards. Rookie wide receiver Xavier Worthy found the endzone twice in his regular season debut, and sophomore Rashee Rice racked up 103 yards on seven receptions.

After the game, Pro Football Focus released their grades for Kansas City’s players, and to the surprise of no one in Chiefs Kingdom, quarterback Patrick Mahomes came out on top with a mark of 87.9.

Veteran defensive tackle Chris Jones and wide receiver Rashee Rice fell right behind Mahomes for the second and third spots, respectively.

After an incredible performance by Kansas City’s offense in Week 1, without the help of veteran wide receiver Marquise ‘Hollywood’ Brown, the team’s pursuit of an elusive Super Bowl three-peat is off to a good start.
