After an extremely successful launch of Peyton’s Places on ESPN+, Peyton Manning began creating additional shows for Disney’s streaming sports network, including Eli’s Places.
In a recent episode of Eli’s Places, Eli Manning disguises himself as “Chad Powers” for a walk-on tryout at Penn State. The footage from Manning’s tryout is pretty funny and it quickly went viral on social media.
Peyton jumped on the hype train during the “ManningCast” of Monday Night Football in Week 3, reporting to the show with a “Chad Powers” t-shirt.
Peyton also, of course, took advantage of an opportunity to poke fun at his brother.
“Eli, the funny thing that people didn’t get to see is that a couple of those Penn State coaches were actually saying they thought Powers looked like Eli Manning, but Powers throws it so much better than Eli Manning ever did,” Manning said during MNF. “That’s kind of what threw them off in my opinion.”
