Aaron Rodgers’ debut with the New York Jets took a bad turn in a hurry as he suffered an ankle injury on the team’s first drive and exited the game. Moments later he was seen hopping on a cart and getting a ride to the locker room.
Peyton Manning and Eli Manning are doing a ManningCast on ESPN2 for the Bills-Jets season opener, and the two former quarterbacks were stunned when they saw that Rodgers needed the cart.
Their live reaction to the injury perfectly summed up how lots of Jets fans must have been feeling in the moment.
