The average pump price of petrol in the UK has now breached the 150p per litre barrier, according to the latest fuel watch figures.
RAC Fuel Watch says UK petrol now costs an average of 151.25p per litre, while diesel is 154.72p per litre.
The price jump has come as a result of fuel retailers having to pay over the odds for new stock as the Russian invasion of Ukraine continues to put pressure on oil prices.
