Petr Cech has admitted that it's 'sad' to see Frank Lampard struggle following his return to management at Chelsea. The Blues have lost each of their previous six games under the caretaker manager, and they've shown no sign of transforming their misfortunes.
Since Lampard replaced Graham Potter in the dugout, the west Londoners have been knocked out of the Champions League and also slipped into the bottom half of the Premier League. Chelsea sit 12th in the table with just five matches still to play.
While relegation from the top-flight is unlikely, it is possible – especially with the likes of Bournemouth and Leicester City beginning to enjoy healthy veins of form. Cech hopes to see the west Londoners find a solution to their troubles, insisting that just one win could turn things around.

Speaking at an event unveiling the latest inductees to the Premier League Hall of Fame, the former Blues goalkeeper said: "It's sad to see the club as they are in the table but there is a lot of experienced players and which obviously experience difficult moments in their careers like that.
"I hope Frank Lampard gets with the players and they find solutions for the upcoming games. Sometimes you need just one win or one positive result to turn a corner so hopefully they achieve that."
Cech left his technical and performance advisor role at Chelsea in the summer after Todd Boehly took the helm at Stamford Bridge. Upon his departure, the 40-year-old said: "It has been a huge privilege to perform this role at Chelsea for the past three years.
"With the club under new ownership, I feel now is the right time for me to step aside. I am pleased that the club is now in an excellent position with the new owners, and I am confident of its future success both on and off the pitch."
Meanwhile, Boehly said: "Petr is an important member of the Chelsea family. We understand his decision to step away and thank him for his contributions as an advisor and his commitment to the club and to our community. We wish him the best."
