Peter Schmeichel congratulated David de Gea after the Spaniard equalled his tally for the most clean sheets for Manchester United.
De Gea was in superb form in the 3-0 victory over Leicester City on Sunday afternoon, with the shot-stopper making two key saves to keep United level in the first half. Erik ten Hag's men made the most of the lifeline given to them by their goalkeeper, with Marcus Rashford (two) and Jadon Sancho going on to score for the home side.
The 32-year-old is now level with Reds legend Schmeichel on 180 clean sheets for the club, having made 521 appearances for United since signing from Atletico Madrid in June 2011. Although it took De Gea more matches to reach the milestone, he will undoubtedly go past the Dane and set a new club record.

De Gea, who is 10th in the list of all-time appearance-makers for United, was congratulated by Schmeichel after the win over the Foxes. The United great praised the Spaniard for his performance against Brendan Rodgers' men, while also lauding him for the overall achievement.
"The 180th clean sheet was hard earned, but well deserved with two out-of-this-world saves," he wrote on Twitter. "Well done @D_DeGea, many congratulations, what a fantastic achievement."
Only Newcastle United goalkeeper Nick Pope has kept more clean sheets than De Gea this term, with the Spaniard having recorded 10 in the Premier League this season. His clean sheet against the Foxes was his 140th in the top-flight.
De Gea has played every single minute in the top flight for United this campaign, and he will be aiming to surpass Schmeichel's clean sheet record on Thursday night. United welcome Barcelona to Old Trafford for the second leg of their Europa League play-off tie, which is perfectly poised at 2-2.
