Peter Kay stunned by reaction to comeback tour as he adds monthly London residency

Comedian Peter Kay says he says he is struggling to get his head around the "unbelievable" reaction to his comeback tour as he announced a monthly residency at the O2 in London for the next year.

The Phoenix Nights creator will play the O2 once a month every month until November 2023 in addition to tour dates around the country in 2022 and 2023, including two in Newcastle announced so far.

The 49-year-old co-hosted the Zoe Ball Breakfast Show on BBC Radio 2 following confirmation of his London residency.
