Peter Kay’s Dance For Life: How to get tickets or donate to Cancer Research

Peter Kay, 48, has played 14 UK arenas since 2016 for Dance For Life show and now it is back.

He kicked off his new tour at the Manchester Central Convention Complex on Good Friday and is now heading out across the rest of Britain.

The comedian has only made a few small on screen appearances since his 2016 Dance For Life shows, including Peter Kay's Comedy Shuffle, Inside No 9 and Car Share.

His last major tour was in 2011 with The Tour That Doesn’t Tour Tour… Now On Tour, it a record-breaking smash hit for the star.

He was originally set to go on tour back in 2017 but had to cancel it due to “unforeseen family circumstances”.

Luckily, tickets are still on sale now and all money goes to a great cause while offering you a night of top-notch entertainment.

What is Peter Kay’s Dance for Life?

Peter Kay’s Dance for Life is back after six years after it was rescheduled in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic.

It started during the Easter bank holiday and has already proved to be a massive hit as the star was given a standing ovation following his first performance.

During the night, he could be seen wearing an 80s-style outfit complete with a gym style headband.

There was DJ decks and footage of his old Channel 4 sitcom, Max & Paddy’s Road To Nowhere playing on a massive screen.

The proceeds of the event go to Cancer Research UK.

The show is billed as “the dance-a-thon party that will change lives”.

How to get tickets for Peter Kay’s Dance for Life

There are still a few tickets available for those who want a night to let loose and dance away too.

The next show is at Alexandra Palace in London on April 29 but it has low availability, so don't wait too long.

After that, Kay will be heading over to Liverpool at SPACE by Echo Arena Liverpool for a two-night slot on Friday, August 19 and Saturday, August 20.

The Saturday show similarly has low availability.

To book tickets, head over to ticketmaster.co.uk and click on “find tickets” on your preferred date.

From there, it will list the price of £32.50 per adult, with a minimum purchase of two tickets.

After that, click “find tickets” again and then “get tickets”.

From there, it will take you to a page to fill in your details and confirm.

How to donate to Cancer Research

If you would like to donate to cancer research individual or are unable to got to Peter Kay’s Dance for Life, there are alternative ways to give a little extra.

Head over to Cancerresearchuk.org and go the “ Get involved ” section.

Then click “Donate to support our work.”

On this page you will be given a few options, the first is if you want to donate monthly or make a single payment.

It lists three price options, either £6, £15, or £30.

Alternatively, you can choose your own amount to donate.

After filing this in, simply click “Donate” and it will take you to a page to fill out your information.
